The MCA Pointer-type Three-way Displacement Indicator(Model GD2000-MCA)is a high-precision mechanical monitoring device,widely used in thermal power plants,industrial boilers,and high-temperature steam pipeline systems.It is designed to visually track and measure the three-dimensional(X,Y,Z axes)thermal expansion and creep displacement of boiler headers,steam drums,main steam pipes,and other critical components during startup,operation,and shutdown.As a core safety accessory,it ensures thermal expansion stays within design limits,preventing pipe distortion,weld cracking,and stress-induced equipment damage.
Main Structure
Base&Mounting Bracket:Rigid carbon steel or stainless steel(304/310S)structure,fixed on stationary boiler frameworks as the stable reference point.
Precision Indicator Panel:High-strength aluminum or stainless steel plate with clear millimeter-scale grids(max measurement range:200mm),enabling direct and accurate reading.
Pointer Assembly:Made of 35#steel or stainless steel,with a low-friction universal joint design for flexible tracking of multi-directional movement.
Connecting Rod&Pipe Clamp:High-temperature resistant alloy(12Cr1MoV,P91)for secure attachment to pipelines;suitable for pipe diameters from DN108 to DN480.
Working Principle
Cold State Calibration:Zero the pointer on the panel before boiler startup to establish a baseline.
Thermal Expansion Tracking:As the boiler heats up,pipelines expand and displace in three directions(horizontal,vertical,axial).
Synchronous Indication:The connecting rod transfers displacement to the pointer,which moves across the grid panel to show real-time values.
