The Three-way Expansion Indicator is a professional mechanical monitoring device for boiler and high-temperature pipeline systems.It is used to detect and display three-dimensional thermal expansion displacement of boiler headers,steam drums,main steam pipes and other key components.
During boiler startup,operation and shutdown,high-temperature components will expand and shift horizontally,vertically and axially.This indicator tracks the displacement in real time,helping operators judge whether the thermal expansion is within the designed range.It effectively prevents pipe deformation,weld cracking,stress concentration and leakage caused by limited or abnormal expansion,and guarantees the safe and stable operation of the whole system.
Main Structure
Fixed base and support bracket:High-strength steel,firmly installed on static structures as the reference benchmark.
Three sets of independent dial and pointer:Clear millimeter scales for direct and accurate reading.
Connecting rod&universal joint:Low-friction flexible structure,adapts to multi-direction movement and ensures measurement accuracy.

Working Principle
Calibrate all pointers to zero under cold state before commissioning.
As the equipment heats up,pipelines and components produce three-way thermal displacement.
The connecting rod drives the pointers to move synchronously,and the displacement value can be read directly from the dials.
Once the reading exceeds the allowable limit,staff shall conduct inspection and troubleshooting in a timely manner.
