The Motorized Coal Feeder Discharge Valve is a key automatic control component installed at the discharge outlet of pulverized coal feeders in thermal power plants and coal chemical production lines. As an electrically driven on-off and regulating device, it is specially developed for medium and low-pressure pipelines conveying dry pulverized coal, fine coal powder and granular fuel materials. Compared with manual and pneumatic valves, the motorized version features precise electric control, stable running status and remote operability, making it the mainstream configuration for modern automated coal feeding systems.
The valve mainly consists of a high-strength alloy valve body, a durable flow control gate or rotor assembly, a professional electric actuator, a precision limit switch and a dust-proof sealing system. The overall structure is compact and highly adaptable to narrow installation spaces under coal bunkers and feeders. The valve body undergoes anti-wear and anti-corrosion treatment to cope with long-term scouring and abrasion caused by high-speed pulverized coal flow. During normal operation, it maintains a stable opening to guarantee uniform and continuous coal discharge. Once the system shuts down, alarms or needs maintenance, the valve closes tightly in a short time to cut off the material flow and isolate pipeline pressure. The optimized sealing structure effectively prevents fine coal leakage and outside air backflow, stabilizing the pressure balance of the entire pulverized coal conveying system.
