Sealed Gravity Diverter Valves are upgraded material switching equipment optimized for enclosed bulk conveying systems. Primarily driven by material gravity, they divert dry powder, granules and lump materials to different pipelines, while adopting a full sealing structure to stop dust escape, air leakage and material overflow. Widely applied in power, coal processing, cement, metallurgy, chemical and grain industries, this valve is a core component for closed conveying lines, especially suitable for working scenarios with strict environmental requirements, negative pressure pipelines and high-dust production workshops. It realizes stable flow direction switching, material distribution and pipeline shunting, and maintains the airtightness and operational stability of the entire conveying system.
Different from ordinary diverter valves, this model integrates gravity diversion and full sealing design. When materials flow down from the upper pipeline under gravity, they strike the internal swing baffle. The baffle swings at a preset angle to guide materials to either of the two discharge outlets, completing flow switching and distribution. The whole operation requires no electric or pneumatic drive, saving energy and simplifying control. All moving parts are installed inside the fully enclosed valve body. Multiple sealing components are fitted at the baffle shaft, body joints and access ports, which effectively isolate internal materials and airflow from the external environment. Even under negative pressure or slight positive pressure working conditions, it can prevent outside air from entering and internal dust from leaking out, avoiding material loss and air disturbance in the pipeline.
The valve body is fabricated with thickened high-strength steel plates, and the inner wall and diversion baffle are lined with wear-resistant materials to withstand long-term scouring of coal powder, ore particles and other hard materials. The rotating shaft is equipped with dust-proof bearings and reinforced shaft seals, ensuring flexible swing without jamming, abrasion or dust penetration. Standard flange connections are adopted for inlets and outlets, enabling quick installation on existing pipelines without major reconstruction. The overall structure is compact and space-saving, adaptable to horizontal, vertical and inclined pipeline layouts. A manual regulating mechanism is reserved on the exterior, allowing operators to adjust the baffle angle and switch material directions conveniently on site.
This product boasts prominent comprehensive advantages. The full-seal design complies with environmental protection standards and improves on-site working conditions. Gravity-driven operation means zero power consumption and low running costs. The optimized flow channel reduces material resistance and effectively prevents blockage. With robust structure and few vulnerable parts, it needs minimal routine maintenance and delivers a long service life. It works reliably for materials of different particle sizes and moisture levels, with strong adaptability to complex working conditions.
As an essential accessory for closed bulk material conveying systems, Sealed Gravity Diverter Valves combine reliable diversion performance and excellent airtightness. It not only ensures smooth and flexible material distribution, but also maintains the safe, clean and efficient operation of the whole production line, becoming a preferred solution for enclosed material shunting in modern industrial production.
