The Double Layer Manual Slide Gate Valve is a high-sealing, manually operated industrial isolation valve specially developed for dust-containing, fine powder and bulk material conveying systems. Different from conventional single-layer slide gate valves, it adopts an innovative double-layer gate plate structure with an intermediate sealing cavity, achieving dual isolation and enhanced dust-tight performance. Relying on manual handwheel operation, the valve realizes stable opening, closing and cutoff control without pneumatic or electric power sources. It is widely used in cement plants, thermal power plants, metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection dust removal and grain storage industries, especially suitable for working conditions requiring zero dust leakage and intermittent manual switching.
This valve features a unique double-layer sliding sealing principle. The two parallel gate plates form an independent sealed isolation layer. When the valve is closed, the double-layer structure forms a double barrier against internal and external pressure differences, effectively preventing fine powder penetration and dust leakage that commonly occur in single-layer valves. Operated by a handwheel and screw transmission mechanism, the gate plate slides smoothly along precision guide rails with uniform feeding and stable operation. The mechanical locking design enables the valve to stay firmly in full-open or full-close position without automatic loosening under material pressure or pipeline vibration, ensuring long-term operational stability.
Structurally designed for heavy-duty and dust-proof working environments, the valve body is integrally welded with high-strength carbon steel or stainless steel, featuring high rigidity, deformation resistance and good airtightness. Both layers of gate plates undergo precision machining and anti-wear treatment to resist friction from long-term flowing powder and granular materials. The built-in high-elastic sealing components adopt wear-resistant polyurethane or PTFE materials, with automatic wear compensation function to adapt to frequent switching. The fully enclosed structure prevents dust from entering the guide rail and transmission parts, effectively avoiding jamming and extending the service life of mechanical components.
As a power-free manual control valve, it has prominent application advantages. It requires no air supply, power supply or hydraulic equipment, saving on-site energy and auxiliary configuration costs. The double-layer sealing design greatly improves sealing reliability, solving the problems of dust overflow and environmental pollution in traditional single-layer gate valves.
