Pneumatic Slide Gate Valve

A Pneumatic Slide Gate Valve(also called pneumatic sliding gate valve)is a heavy-duty,linear-motion industrial valve that uses compressed air to drive a flat gate plate for fast,reliable on/off control of dry bulk solids,powders,granules,slurries,and corrosive fluids.It is widely used in material handling,mining,power,chemical,environmental protection,and food processing industries.

Working Principle

Powered by a pneumatic actuator(single-acting or double-acting cylinder,0.4–0.7 MPa compressed air),the valve converts air pressure into linear mechanical force.The actuator drives the flat gate plate to slide back and forth in the guide groove,fully opening or closing the material passage in 1–2 seconds.When closed,the gate plate presses tightly against the seat via medium pressure or actuator force,achieving dust-tight,leak-proof sealing.

Valve Body:Carbon steel,stainless steel(304/316),or cast steel;withstands pipeline pressure,with straight-through flow channels and gate grooves.

Gate Plate:Flat or wedge-shaped;wedge type for better sealing,parallel type for abrasive/particle-laden media;edge cuts fibrous impurities.

Pneumatic Actuator:Double-acting(air open/air close)or single-acting(spring return for fail-safe);equipped with solenoid valve,filter regulator,and limit switches for remote control.

Sealing System:Polyurethane,fluororubber,or RPTFE seals;wear-compensating,heat/corrosion-resistant,and easy to replace.

Stem&Guide Rails:Connect gate to actuator;ensures stable linear movement,minimizes jamming.
