An electric louver damper is an automatic duct control device fitted with multiple parallel louver blades and electric actuators. It is used to regulate, cut off or distribute air, flue gas and other media in ventilation and industrial duct systems.
Structure & Working Principle
It consists of a rigid frame, linked louver blades, transmission mechanism and electric actuator. Powered by electricity, the actuator drives all blades to rotate synchronously. By changing the blade angle, it adjusts flow volume, shuts off pipelines or balances airflow, and supports remote automatic control.
Key Features
Automatic Operation: Electric drive enables remote control, signal linkage and intelligent management, no manual on-site operation needed.
Large Flow Capacity: Multi-blade design suits large-diameter ducts with low flow resistance.
Good Sealing: Tight fit between blades effectively prevents medium leakage when fully closed.
Durable & Adaptable: Made of heat-resistant and dust-proof materials, works stably in conventional and high-temperature environments.
Main Types
General Electric Louver Damper: For ordinary ventilation, air conditioning and fresh air systems.
High-temperature Electric Louver Damper: Adopts heat-resistant materials, applied to flue gas and hot air pipelines.
Explosion-proof Electric Louver Damper: Designed for chemical, oil and other hazardous working conditions.
Applications
Power plants, industrial workshops, building ventilation, boiler flue gas systems, dust collection and environmental protection exhaust systems.
