The petal fan regulating valve, also known as multi-petal air regulating damper, is a specialized airflow control device matched with fans, air ducts and ventilation equipment. Featuring a unique petal-shaped blade structure, it is mainly used to adjust air volume, control wind speed and balance pipeline pressure for fan inlet and outlet pipelines. Different from traditional butterfly valves and louver dampers, its petal-type opening design delivers more uniform airflow distribution and superior throttling performance, making it an essential supporting component for various industrial fans and ventilation systems.
This valve consists of a rigid circular frame, multiple arc-shaped petal blades, synchronous linkage mechanism, transmission shaft and operating unit. The frame and blades are generally made of high-quality carbon steel or galvanized steel, processed with anti-rust treatment to ensure structural rigidity and durability. All petal blades are linked together and rotate synchronously. Driven by manual, electric or pneumatic actuators, the petals expand or contract to change the overall flow area. When fully opened, all petals spread out to form a smooth and unobstructed passage with extremely low wind resistance, ensuring the fan operates at full efficiency. When partially closed, the overlapping petal structure realizes stepless air volume regulation. When fully shut, the petals fit tightly to cut off airflow completely.
