The Boiler Coal Line Impurity Separator is a professional inline protective device tailored for pulverized coal delivery pipelines of industrial and power plant boilers. It is installed directly on coal feeding lines to trap foreign matters such as metal scraps, rock fragments, welding slag, oversized coal lumps and hard sundries mixed in pulverized coal. It effectively prevents pipeline clogging, burner wear, valve stuck and system malfunctions, securing the long-term stable and safe operation of boiler combustion systems.
Working Principle
Combining flow diversion, kinetic energy attenuation and gravity sedimentation, the separator realizes automatic separation:
Mixed pulverized coal and impurities flow into the separator along the pipeline. Internal guide plates adjust material flow direction and slow down the flow speed.
Fine and light coal powder keeps moving forward with airflow to the boiler smoothly.
Heavy, large and rigid impurities lose velocity quickly, settle down by gravity and gather in the bottom collection bin.
Collected impurities are discharged periodically through the sealed outlet, with no interruption to normal coal transportation.
Main Structure
Flange Connection: Standard flange interface, fits seamlessly with original boiler coal lines for quick installation.
Flow Guide Chamber: Equipped with wear-resistant liners to resist long-term scouring by coal powder.
Impurity Collection Bin: Closed storage space for intercepted sundries, avoiding dust leakage.
Sealed Discharge Unit: Manual or automatic discharging structure, dust-free during operation.
Reinforced Shell: Thickened body with anti-abrasion treatment for prolonged service life.
Key Advantages
Simple Installation: Compact structure, no large-scale pipeline modification required.
Excellent Separation Performance: Reliably removes various hard impurities to protect boiler and pipeline accessories.
Low Pressure Loss: Optimized flow channel brings minimal resistance, no impact on coal conveying efficiency.
Full Sealing Design: Effectively controls coal dust emission, meeting environmental protection standards.
Low Operation Cost: Robust and wear-resistant parts, easy inspection and cleaning, low maintenance workload.
Strong Adaptability: Applicable to horizontal, vertical and inclined boiler coal pipelines of various diameters.
Typical Technical Parameters
